Strategic Counsel

How it usually goes:

A business gets a threatening letter. Or a key relationship sours. Or someone asks, “Does this contract clause mean what I think it means?”

The call goes out to outside counsel—who reviews the contract cold, bills by the hour (or 6-minute increments) to get up to speed, and delivers advice that may or may not turn on an existing client relationship, or recent court experience.

It works, but it’s inefficient, expensive, and reactive.

Most clients don't want to wait until something goes wrong.

They want a commercial litigator’s judgment available consistently—not always on the clock, not usually starting from zero, and not generating unpredictable bills.

That’s why I've built a model for strategic litigation support.

There are four tiers, each at a fixed price.

Every tier includes a quarterly allocation for substantive work—contract reviews, dispute assessments, demand letter support, legal strategy memos—plus on-call calls and regular alignment meetings.

Unused availability carries forward, and tiers adjust based on actual usage.

Think of it as having a commercial litigation partner on call.

You know what it costs.

I know your business.

When something comes up—and something always does—we’re not starting from scratch.

This model is built for in-house counsel without a full team, for growing companies with complex commercial relationships, and for business owners who wish they could call a lawyer without watching the clock.
