Human Litigator

Behind every litigator is a human story.

Mine started as the daughter of two attorneys in an Atlanta suburb, followed by college in North Carolina, then a stint as a fifth grade teacher in rural Arizona.

I’ve always been an anxious achiever. Someone who works hard, worries harder, and cares deeply about the people around me.

I’m a partner at Husch Blackwell, but I’m also a tennis player, a dog mom (Margot and Oxford keep me humble), and a lifelong learner.

I believe in showing up with candor, curiosity, and a willingness to talk about the hard stuff, whether that’s mental health, burnout, or the realities of big law.

I care about lawyer wellbeing, access to justice, and building a legal community where people can thrive as whole humans, not just billing machines.

I’m proud of my work, but prouder still of the relationships I’ve built and the people I’ve helped along the way.

If you’re new here, welcome. I post about litigation, lawyer wellness, sustainable careers, and the future of our profession. I’m glad you’re here.
