Dual Track

What do I do first on a new case? Two things at once.

Track 1: The legal framework.

We identify the claims and defenses, pull the jury instructions, and map the elements we'd have to prove or defend against at trial.

That becomes a case assessment memo covering strengths, weaknesses, likely arguments, and a more detailed phased budget.

Track 2: The facts.

I interview you, and often your employees or other key people, and start collecting documents.

Together, these shape what happens next: a demand letter, a response, or a decision on whether to answer a complaint or move to dismiss.

Strategy starts with understanding both the law and the story.
