Of the many things swirling in my brain about legal ops and how to apply its principles to litigation teams, rightsourcing is the loudest.

Am I thinking about the right people for the matter?

Am I thinking about the right tools for the matter?

Am I thinking about the right next steps for the matter?

Litigation can feel (and be) reactive.

I need to fight against that when possible.

Taking .1 or .2 to reflect on and ensure that I’m rightsourcing, at regularly cadences over the life of the matter, will save the whole team—and the client—heartburn and costs.
