Goals
I'm goal oriented. Shocker, I know.
For the better part of three decades, my goals have revolved around school and work, and, occasionally, my health.
In 2019, I made a personal goal to start reading more (for fun).
Today? I've already read 61 books so far this year (including two I’ve started and finished since late Friday).
At 39, I said, “Let’s lose the weight.”
Today? 105 pounds lighter.
So, what's next?
I've been thinking about fun, nothing to do with work, goals.
A few ideas:
Planting a pollinator garden up north (planned, but need to commit by buying materials)
Finally being rated 4.0 by the USTA (in the works, but need to buckle down)
Qualifying for Jeopardy (the idea of studying flashcards for fun really calls to me, seriously)
A trip or two based on my fav mystery series (tentative itineraries set)
Learning to watercolor (started but inconsistently)
Or maybe a simpler one: enjoy the beautiful days as they come.
