A pause.

I've been quiet here, for two months--on purpose.

After a long, long stretch of consistent posting (6+ years), I felt the pull to step back and be intentional about what I wanted to say, and why, before I said anything else.

So I paused.

No content calendar, no drafts waiting to go out.

Just distance, space.

Today, I'm "back," with the same things I've always cared about:

Lawyer wellbeing.

Building a sustainable career.

The realities of big law.

Civil litigation, AI, and pricing in the modern era.

No pivot, no transformation--rest, intention, sharper mindset, and continued candor.

Taking two months off from a platform with 27,000+ people watching felt risky, freeing, rebellious, and strange.

But, if I'm going to encourage other lawyers to build sustainable careers, I have to be willing to model what that looks like--including stepping away when I need to, and coming back when I'm ready, not when a to-do list says so.

Thanks for allowing me that space and time--and thanks to those of you who checked in on me while I was away.

♥️✌🏻🔥
